Michael D. Ellis, Owner
Michael lives in Olympia and has been a community member since 1988. Formerly an officer in the US Army, he left active duty at Ft. Lewis in 1993 and acquired DRYEX in 1997. He holds a variety of certifications within the industry including Master Textile Cleaner and Practicing Senior Carpet Inspector. He served on the Board of Directors of the Olympia Credit Union and remains active in national organizations. He is past president of the Bigelow Park Homeowners’ Association. Formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Tech and he is an MBA alumnus of Saint Martin’s University.
Hunter Ellis, Technician
Hunter Ellis currently serves in the Washington Army National Guard as a sergeant. He has served combat tours prior to his 23rd birthday in both Iraq and Afghanistan as a scout. We are happy he is back safe and sound and putting his skills and refined work ethic to good use caring for your property! He is eager to reach the highest levels of professionalism in this industry and the eagerness shows in his work results. He demonstrates the highest levels of professionalism and is an asset to the DRYEX team.
Blanca Coumerilh, Technician
Blanca has been our rug repair technician since 2016. She also holds many other skills and is often on the truck helping with a job. She also holds an airbnb and housekeeping business to manage on her “off time.” She was naturalized in 2016 and has many interesting stories to share about her journey from Guadalajara.
